The emerging Technology entrepreneurial center (eTec) is a 10,000 sq. ft. business accelerator designed to help new technology companies grow more quickly by providing experts, materials and advisors to help owners "quick start" their businesses.

eTec is sponsored and managed by the Norman Economic Development Coalition, a unique partnership of the University of Oklahoma, the City of Norman and the Norman business community through the Norman Chamber of Commerce. As such, its tenants can tap into all the expertise offered through the city, business, and academic communities in Norman.

One tenant of the eTec incubator, Seth Noble of Data Expedition, Inc. says, "eTec provides infrastructure, contacts, and advice for startup companies. For infrastructure, they provide all the logistics we need for an office so that we can concentrate on our product. The contacts and advice we get from both the eTec staff and other startup companies in the facility are very valuable."
