Tax Credits
  • Technology transfer exclusions based on royalties earned from the transfer of technology to Oklahoma businesses

  • High-tech income tax credits available for businesses showing an increase in computer, data processing, or research and development jobs

Tax Exemptions Available
  • Inventory exemptions on goods imported and exported from the state within nine months

  • Ad valorem property tax exemptions for qualified companies for up to 5 years

  • Sales tax exemptions on machinery used in design, development, and manufacturing

  • Sales tax exemptions on tangible property for spaceport use

  • New product development exemptions based on royalties earned from new products (dependent on registration with the Oklahoma Center for the Advancement of Science and Technology, OCAST)

  • Incubator tenant and small business credits provide incentives and tax credits for emerging businesses for periods of up to ten years
