First American Bank names Neil P. Schemmer president

Neil P. Schemmer has been named president of First American Bank.
He has been with First American since 2003.
Jim McAuley was named chairman of the board. He replaces the late Hoyt Pat Mayes. McAuley will also continue as CEO. McAuley has been with First American 14 years.
Charlie Blankenship was named vice chairman of the board.
First American Bank has assets totaling $300 million and is owned by the Mayes family. Chartered in 1935, the bank was purchased in 1990 and has nine banking locations in Norman, Goldsby, Purcell, Maysville, Taloga, Woodward, Moore and south Oklahoma City.
