KeyBridge Technologies, Inc., with the help of the emerging
Technology entrepreneurial center (eTec) business incubator,
enjoyed tremendous growth throughout the past three years and
expanded out of the Norman Economic Development Coalitions
(NEDC) incubator last December to a base of over 200 personnel in
12 locations and 6 states.

State leading way with nanotech
Oklahoma is taking nanotechnology research and putting it to
great use. Shelly Elizondo submitted a proposal on behalf of
Norman-based Nanolight Inc. that would use nanotechnology to
enhance the optical properties of its infrared light detectors.

Nanotech development important for Oklahoma
Some might argue that given Oklahoma's limited investment, we

Operations Manager Dave Mitchell referred to such employees as
purple squirrels, nearly impossible-to-find candidates
