Norman Receives 16th consecutive financial award

For the 16th year in a row, the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting had been awarded to the City of Norman by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada for its comprehensive annual financial report.
The Certificate of Achievement is the highest for of recognition
in the area of governmental accounting and financial
reporting.
An Award of Financial Reporting Achievement also has been awarded to the individuals primarily responsible for preparing the award-winning CAFR: Norman’s Finance Director Anthony Francisco, Chief Accountant Clint Mercer and Municipal Accountant Becky Masters.
