BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse opens

The Norman Transcript

BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse, 330 Ed Noble Parkway, will open Tuesday. The restaurant will employ approximately 150 full-time and part-time staff.

The Norman location is the 60th unit for the chain that originated in southern California in 1978. The Norman location is 8,500-square-feet with seating capacity for approximately 280 guests.

BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse partnered with aspiring young artists and public school educators at an invitation-only grand opening event to raise money to support Arts Institute programs, scholarships and operations Saturday evening.

The event included live entertainment and complimentary samples of BJ’s signature menu items, BJ’s handcrafted beer and a variety of wine.

BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse offers a menu featuring award-winning, deep dish pizzas, salads, sandwiches, soups, pastas, entrees and desserts, including its famous Pizookie cookie dessert. The restaurant also carries a selection of its own handcrafted beer and root beer.

BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse has a detailed contemporary décor with high ceilings, an elevated bar and high-definition flat panel televisions. The restaurant’s semi-private dining room can accommodate 100 guests and large parties and gatherings.

The Quick Pick-Up Service program allows guests to call in their carry-out order and a server will deliver the order to the guest’s car when they arrive.

Hours of operation are 11 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

In addition to Oklahoma, BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse has locations in California, Texas, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, Colorado, Florida and Ohio. The company also has licensing interest in Lahaina, Maui.
