Gelato business coming to Norman

A little bit of Italy will come to Norman this summer. Set to open May 19, Il Dolce Gelato, will serve gelato and sorbetto, as well as espresso and coffee drinks and a few pastries.

BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse opens

BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse is a new restaurant located out at Ed Noble Parkway. BJ's offers a menu featuring award-winning deep-dish pizzas, salads, sandwiches, soups, pastas, entrees and desserts, including handcrafted beer and root beer.

Phase II is under way

The construction for the three-story project that will add 44,000 square feet to the existing 61,000-square-foot Gaylord Hall, located at The University of Oklahoma, has begun. The Journalism and Mass Communications School is expected to be complete for Spring Semester of 2009.

CNI data center could bring 1,000-1,500 jobs

Norman high-tech alliance celebrates a decade of existence

The Norman Economic Development Coalition has had many achievements over the past 10 years, including a specialized business incubator. The Emerging Technology Entrepreneurial Center helps startup companies with the potential to become major employers in Norman and recruits new companies and helps existing employers reach their goals.
