Washington D.C.-U.S.
Congressman Tom Cole today announced that the Norman Economic
Development Coalition has received a $217,800 grant from the U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development
(HUD). The funding was awarded through the HUD
Economic Development Initiative (EDI) program.
"I am proud to represent the Norman Economic Development Coalition and applaud the organization for their success in achieving the Economic Development Initiative Award," Congressman Cole said. "This award will assist the coalition in their economic development and their revitalization projects."
EDI provides grants to local governments to enhance both the security of loans guaranteed through the Section 108 Loan Program and the feasibility of the economic development and revitalization projects they finance.
