Copia on the Corridor opened Wednesday in downtown Norman. The luncheon spot is open 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday at 326 E. Main St.

Co-owners Gil Gentry and Derek Kordeliski have turned the eight-table restaurant into a cozy art-deco destination for lunch goers.

“We have taken some classic older elements and incorporated them with some new elements inside the restaurant,” Gentry said. “It’s a ’20s, ’30s and ’40s atmosphere.”

Gentry said the American-French cuisine features a full menu with everything priced under $11 per item. Some of their menu items include chicken croquets with a black cherry and shallot sauce, a classic tomato bisque, a seafood pasta salad, a warm spinach and duck salad with goat cheese and a fisherman’s stew that includes snapper, shrimp, mussels, scallops and lobster in a tomato-fennel sauce.

Gentry said the restaurant also is available for parties, rehearsal dinners and other special events outside of normal business hours.
