Comanche Tribe opens facility in Norman
The Comanche Tribe can now receive services in Norman. The
Comanche Nation Norman Outreach Center had its grand opening on
Jan. 23rd.

Construction should boost OU Engineering
Construction at the University of Oklahoma is making great
progress but is still not complete. Devon Hall Energy Center and
the ExxonMobil Lawerence G. Rawl Engineering Practice Facility hope
to have completion by mid-to late 2008.

Downtown Norman has another addition to the area. Copia on the
Corridor is a new luncheon spot that is located at 326 E. Main
St.

MG on track
Construction should be starting in April 2007 for the MG plant.
Everything seems to be on track for the production in summer of
2008.

Hotel developer says it will boost north side
Here's to John Q. Hammons who has committed to build a
first-class hotel and conference center. The hotel and
conference center should enhance the north side by attracting the
type of stores that could prove a regional draw.

Journal Record names Innovator award winners
The Journal Record in April will present 50 awards
at its largest-ever Innovator of the Year banquet. Several of the

nation of freshman National Merit scholars enrolled per capita
among public universities.

Congressman Cole Announces Economic Development Initiative Award to the Norman Economic Development Coalition
U.S. Congressman Tom Cole announced that the Norman Economic
Development Coalition has received a $217,800 grant from the U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
