"Deltas, Barrier Islands & Beyond" Exhibit To Open At OU's Stephenson Research Center
NORMAN Deltas, Barrier Islands, and Beyond, an
exhibit that brings together world-renowned batik artist Mary Edna
Fraser and her collaborator, internationally recognized geologist
Orrin Pilkey, will open on Tuesday, March 7, at the Stephenson
Research and Technology Center on the University of Oklahomas

$20 Million Development Set For East Norman

Ekips Raises $2.9 Million To Support Vital Business Operations & Marketing Efforts
NORMAN, OKLA. Patrick McCann, Ph.D., founder and president of
Ekips Technologies, announced today that the company has closed a
$2.4 million round of equity financing and received a $500,000
matching grant from the National Science Foundation through its
Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Phase IIB program.

OU's Faculty Endowments Increase 300 Percent
NORMAN A historic 300 percent increase in the number of
faculty endowments has been achieved at the University of Oklahoma
in less than 12 years with the recent addition of seven new endowed
faculty positions.

Outpacing Projections
Revenues began three years ago for the startup CSI Oklahoma (which
stands for Consulting Services Incorporated) at $63,000. Last year,
earnings blossomed to a robust $403,000.
