
Established in 1996, the Norman Economic Development Coalition (NEDC) is a joint effort of the University of Oklahoma, the City of Norman, and the Norman Business Community through the Norman Chamber of Commerce. This unique partnership was formed to work full time on economic development in the Norman community.
Norman, Oklahoma is located in the center of Oklahoma and is
strategically situated near the crossroads of I-40 and I-35. In
Norman, businesses and investors find business incubators,
state-of-the-art telecommunications infrastructure and facilities.
The technology developed in Norman is utilized worldwide.
The Norman Economic Development Coalition is dedicated to expanding
the economic base of the Norman community, enhancing the earnings
opportunities of area residents by retaining and expanding existing
business and industry, as well as attracting desirable new
employers that are consistent with Norman's high quality of
life.
